SOCT Party Spring Town Hall Series 2025
The SOCT Party is proud to announce its Spring 2025 Town Hall Series — a sequence of open community forums designed to bring residents together with party leaders, candidates, and policy experts to discuss the issues that matter most. These are not scripted events. They are real conversations, and every attendee's voice matters.
Why Town Halls Matter
Town halls are one of the oldest and most effective forms of democratic participation. They create a space where citizens can ask direct questions, challenge positions, share their experiences, and hold representatives accountable — all face to face. The SOCT Party is committed to hosting accessible, respectful, and substantive forums.
What to Expect at a Town Hall
Each session in the Spring Series will follow a consistent format:
- Opening remarks (15 minutes): A brief overview of the evening's topic from SOCT leadership.
- Policy presentation (20 minutes): A focused discussion of a specific policy issue — such as housing, education, or local infrastructure.
- Open Q&A (45 minutes): The heart of the event. Attendees submit questions in advance or ask them live.
- Community roundtable (30 minutes): Smaller breakout conversations with candidates and party representatives.
- Networking & resources (15 minutes): Connect with volunteers, pick up information, and sign up for further involvement.

How to Register for a Town Hall
Attendance is free and open to all community members. To help with planning, we ask that attendees register in advance by:

- Submitting your name, preferred date, and any questions you'd like addressed
Walk-ins are also welcome, space permitting. Accessibility accommodations, including language interpretation, are available upon request — please note your needs when registering.

Selected town halls will be livestreamed and recorded. Check back in the Events section for links to live and archived sessions. The SOCT Party believes civic participation should be accessible to everyone, regardless of schedule or mobility.
